We're getting married!

After 10 years of being together, including two years of a long distance engagement, we are finally tying the knot! We are inviting all our friends and family to join us for a weekend at a summer camp (#CampCulpi) to get married amongst the redwood trees. There will be a weekend full of festivities, with the ceremony taking place on November 2nd. Both of us returned to our hometowns in 2014, to find old friends were no longer in the area. Seeking companionship, both of us begrudgingly turned to the dating apps. The OkCupid algorithm did its job and matched the only two UCSC banana slugs residing in Orange County. Robert suggested grabbing dinner at a sushi restaurant, and Kate agreed, but only after secretly internet stalking him and learning they had mutual, trusted friends from college. The date included conversation about soviet history, Kate's first taste of sushi, and Robert's insistence on getting on the dance floor. This marks the conclusion of the first and last dating app date either of us has ever been on. Robert had plans to move to Romania for a year and build a house, but that didn't stop our interest in one another. After three months of dating in the OC and another three months of daily texts while Robert was abroad, Kate picked up Robert from the airport and asked to make this arrangement official with a handmade boarding pass to Relationshipville. We have now been in Relationshipville for a decade, experiencing many adventures, adopting three cats, purchasing a house, and set on continuing this great life together in Marriagetown.
